An executive who has traveled to such diverse places as Japan and the Cape Verde Islands to help promote telemedicine, Peter (Pete) Killcommons serves as the CEO of Medweb, a medical device software company in San Francisco. Peter Killcommons belongs to professional organizations such as the American Telemedicine Association (ATA). Telemedicine involves the remote diagnosis and even treatment of health conditions.

A leading non-profit in the field, ATA includes over 10,000 industry professionals around the world. The association offers a diverse range of educational opportunities for its members, including its annual conference.

The 2018 ATA Annual Conference and Expo will take place April 29-May 1 in Chicago at the McCormick Place convention center. As the largest global event for telehealth, the conference will provide career development and educational opportunities under the leadership of industry experts and discussion of cutting-edge topics. It also offers networking opportunities and an expo with over 150 exhibitors.

So, Pete, or, Dr. Pete ... how did you ever beat that RAPE rap in Tahoe? Beyond that, do you know that you ruined the lives of other women as well? You're a certified rapist and all around jerk. No wonder you're not married.

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Police on Saturday arrested a San Francisco man in his Tahoe Donner home for alleged sexual assault on a 24-year-old woman.

According to a press release from the Truckee Police Department, at 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, a San Francisco woman called the Truckee Police Department, requesting a welfare check on her 24-year-old sister, also from San Francisco, who was staying in a Tahoe Donner home on Hansel Avenue.

The woman reported she had allegedly been assaulted by an acquaintance at a neighboring home, according to the release, identifying the man as Peter Killcommons, 50, of San Francisco.

Police arrested Killcommons at his Truckee residence, where the incident allegedly occurred, and booked him into Nevada County Jail in Truckee on sexual assault charges Monday.





According to the release, the woman was taken to Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, Nev., where she was treated and released.

Deputy District Attorney Bill Cornell said the case is still awaiting a rape report, so charges are pending. Killcommons posted $50,000 bail, he said.

A San Francisco physician was arrested Saturday on charges that he sexually assaulted a woman at his home in Truckee over the weekend.


At around 3:15 a.m. Saturday, Truckee police received a call from a woman who requested that they check on her sister, a 24-year-old woman staying in the Tahoe Donner subdivision.


The victim told police that she had been raped by Peter Michael Killcommons, 50, at his Hansel Avenue home.

The victim was transported to Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, where she was treated and released.




Killcommons was arrested on suspicion of raping an unconscious victim and penetration with a foreign object. He was released on $50,000 bail
